Jayne Klose, Senior Vice President, Resource Development and Marketing
Jayne KloseJayne Klose is the Senior Vice President of Resource Development and Marketing for United Way of the Greater Dayton Area.  In this role, Jayne directs all fundraising activities for the organization, develops new resource development channels, and recruits and manages a cabinet of more than 40 campaign volunteers.  Additionally, Jayne oversees the development and implementation of United Way’s marketing and communications strategies, initiates and coordinates market research, and manages organizational strategic planning.

A Summa Cum Laude / Phi Beta Kappa graduate of DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, Jayne’s professional career with United Way spans nearly 30 years.  Prior to her current position, she served as the organization’s Vice President of Marketing and Community Impact, and her career path has given her a wealth of experience in marketing, community relations, management, research, and resource development.  Jayne has won numerous awards both locally and nationally for her skills in marketing, communications and brand management.

Jayne recently concluded an 8-year term on the American Humanics Council at Wright State University, a certificate program preparing graduate and undergraduate students to work in the nonprofit sector.  Jayne’s community involvement includes work with the Muse Machine, Oakwood High School, the American Heart Association Gala, the Dayton Metro Library, Leadership Dayton, Senior Resource Connection and many other local nonprofit organizations.

Jayne and her husband Kevin have two daughters at college and a dog and a cat at home.
