of the diversity of volunteers expected to participate in this year's
event, we will try to accommodate projects on days surrounding the
event as needed. Please let us know immediately if this will be
a need for your agency.
Why

Community
Care Day is a great way to introduce community volunteers to Partner
Agencies that make up United Way 's network of services. Volunteers
are able to see their dollars at work in their own community. The
event also increases a sense of community pride and encourages the
spirit of volunteerism. Only United Way Partner Agencies and local
community/government entities (such as local parks) are invited
to participate in Community Care Day.
When
are project proposals due?
All
proposals are due by Friday, February 17 th .
